Marathon and Half Marathon Training Plans

For all those training with the Half and Marathon Training groups on Saturdays, here are the planned distances each week. The Marathon plan has been tweaked slightly after feedback was received.

The Marathon Group mileage is devised, approved and suggested for any club marathon beginner, to support their higher distance running goal of the London Marathon.
If you are more experienced, then there is scope to add or subtract mileage on any of these run amounts in order to support personal plans that you may have for the London Marathon or any other targeted Spring longer distance race.

For both groups runs will start at LMLC and leave promptly at 08.30 am.
(Unless agreed otherwise on a weekly basis to bring the time forward for the next week)

Cost is £1 a run for CRN Members , and there will be a register of names to ‘sign in and out on’ each week at LMLC.
Experienced leader(s) will be in attendance at each weeks run.
