Heres the latest news from CRN!

Fundraising: We have been raising money for local causes/charities on the last Monday of each month (all the £1 running fees are donated and the Club matches all donations) and here are the amounts raised in the last 3 months:
Morchard Bishop Primary School: £32 (for play equipment)
Sea Moor Explorers: £60 (for equipment)
Wedding Wishing Well Foundation: £54.
The next fundraiser is on Monday 25th June and is for Landscore School PTA to help support their projects.
AGM: The  Crediton Running Network AGM is on 14th July 2018.  It will start with a run at 08.30am (there will be different routes available).  The AGM itself will be at 10.30am at QE Western Road Sports Hall –  the runs will also start from this venue.  An agenda will be sent to all members before the AGM. If you have any items you wish to be discussed/raised please email them to julieclawson1@gmail.com. Please also let us know before the date if you are interested in becoming a committee member. We would love to see as many of you as possible come along.
CRN Social – Also on Saturday 14th JULY we are having our summer club BBQ at The Red Lion, Shobrooke at 6.30pm. Places are free for full members and payable for partners of members. Save the date – and email the club by 7th July to book places. Thank you.

Crediton Crunch 2019: the date is confirmed at 5th May. Put it in your diary now!

Dawlish Dash: Some of our runners took part in the Dawlish Dash on Thursday 7th June. Organised by the Dawlish Coasters this 4 mile run takes runners along the sand for about a mile, then along the seawall, across the railway and back to the warren. Its a fun event and a chance to not only challenge yourself on the sand but then enjoy some flat firm running to give it all you can to finish the 4 miles as quickly as possible!! Or you can simply potter along and enjoy running beside the sea! Your reward is a unique Dawlish Coaster, and then to stay around and be sociable afterwards – earning yourself some fish and chips on the sea wall or maybe a beer!! Remember this one for next year – keep and eye on the Dawlish Coasters website for next year’s date!

We know many of you enter events regularly as we spot you on Facebook! If you would like to share your event stories and photos please email the club so we can include them on the website too!
Happy running!
